This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

West winds will gust up to 40 mph this afternoon in the mountains
and along the northern Colorado border. With dry humidity, this
will create elevated fire danger. Late this afternoon and
evening, a few weak showers are expected over the eastern plains
with a slight chance for a thunderstorm.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Friday, scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible for the
foothills and plains. Thunderstorms may produce wind gusts up to 45
mph and small hail. Some light snow is also possible across the
mountains, mainly over the higher peaks from Friday into Saturday.

Warmer weather is expected on Sunday with perhaps an isolated
shower or thunderstorm across the eastern plains. Windy conditions
are forecast Sunday through most of next week as a series of
storms track to the north of the forecast area.
